At Sploro, we are excited to introduce Marta Hernández Romero and Mikel Apesteguía Irigoyen as the newest additions to our team of EU Project Managers. Their combined expertise and commitment to innovation will further strengthen our ability to lead impactful European projects and support organizations in navigating the complexities of EU funding. Marta brings a unique multidisciplinary background, with a degree in English Philology and master’s degrees in International Relations and Migrations, as well as Gender Studies, Identities, and Citizenship. Over the past two and a half years, she has coordinated eight European projects at Pacto Verde, including seven Erasmus+ KA210 initiatives and one under the CERV program. Marta’s experience in managing diverse, collaborative projects makes her an invaluable asset to Sploro as we continue expanding our reach across Europe.
Mikel is a Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in European R&D projects. During his time at ZABALA Innovation, he specialized in drafting proposals for programs such as Horizon 2020 (H2020) and LIFE, while managing funded initiatives, including cascade funding schemes. At ADItech, he held the role of EU Programmes and Partnerships Manager, where he focused on enhancing the participation of Navarre’s R&D&I ecosystem in European projects through strategic partnerships. Mikel’s technical expertise and strategic approach will play a key role in driving Sploro’s mission forward.
