Sploro at Valencia Digital Summit 2025: Empowering Women-led Deep Tech to Go Global

Sploro joins the 2025 Valencia Digital Summit on 22–23 October at the City of Arts and Sciences, showcasing women-led deep tech innovation through EmpoWomen and Women TechEU

For the second consecutive year, Sploro will be part of the Valencia Digital Summit (VDS) — one of Europe’s most dynamic gatherings of innovators, entrepreneurs, and investors. Taking place on 22–23 October 2025 at the City of Arts and Sciences, this year’s edition focuses on global growth, sustainability, and diversity within the tech and innovation ecosystem.

Sploro’s presence at VDS 2025 will shine a spotlight on women-led innovation in deep tech, bringing to the stage some of the most promising entrepreneurs supported through two of Sploro’s flagship European programmes: EmpoWomen and Women TechEU.

Women Leading the Deep Tech Revolution

(23 October – 10:30–10:50) – Lake Meeting Point

Under the banner “Going Global from Day One: Women Leading Deep Tech Towards Scaling Up”, Sploro will co-host a dedicated session in collaboration with EmpoWomen, Women TechEU, and Club Globals.

This 20-minute panel, moderated by Virginia Gómez, Sploro’s Head of EU Department, will explore how early-stage, science-driven startups can build global ambitions from the start. The discussion will feature four outstanding voices from the deep tech ecosystem:

Together, they will address the key levers of internationalisation — from IP and regulatory strategy to capital, partnerships, and talent — offering founder-first insights and actionable advice to inspire the next generation of women innovators.

Celebrating Women Founders: Deep Tech Lightning Pitches

(23 October – 10:50–11:30) – Lake Meeting Point

Immediately following the panel, Sploro will also co-organise the Women-led Deep Tech Lightning Pitches, presented by Marta Fernández and Mario Paladini.

This fast-paced pitching session will showcase female founders pioneering cutting-edge technologies across Europe, with each startup delivering a concise three-minute pitch followed by expert feedback from Virginia Gómez and Agathe Acchiardo.

The activity aims to celebrate the creativity, resilience, and ambition of women entrepreneurs breaking new ground in AI, health tech, robotics, and sustainable innovation — a true reflection of the European deep tech landscape.
