Innovation is not just happening in Europe’s big capitals. There’s a new wave rising in the south of Spain and Sploro is thrilled to be part of it! We’re proud to announce our partnership as official media partners for South Impact 2025, the event that’s putting Cádiz and southern Spain at the heart of Europe’s innovation conversation.

Our adventure as media partners is powered by our podcast, Efecto Cascada. We started broadcasting from Pamplona, Spain, and quickly set our sights across Europe but our vision is global, just like the projects South Impact champions.
Efecto Cascada dives deep into the forefront of innovation, showcasing entrepreneurs, exploring cascade funding opportunities, and tracking the trends shaping the future. After covering major events like South Summit in Madrid and Slush in Helsinki, we are especially honoured that our journey now brings us to Cádiz as official media partners for South Impact.

Meanwhile, Marcos will be on the ground connecting with startups, SMEs, and other innovators eager to tap into EU funding opportunities. Through our Cascade Funding Hub a platform where we publish daily calls for equity-free funding across multiple sectors and technologies, Marcos will showcase how founders can access fresh opportunities to scale their projects. His goal: to help innovators navigate the landscape with ease and unlock the potential behind cascade funding, one of Europe’s most accessible mechanisms for supporting innovation.
The heartbeat of South Impact is the Impact Showcase, where 30+ standout projects from southern Spain, Melilla, and the Canary Islands take centre stage. As Víctor Sáenz says:
“The Impact Showcase is the heart of the event, featuring around 30 selected projects from across southern Spain, including Melilla and the Canary Islands. With this vertical, we want to spotlight the projects born in the south. It’s really about showing that important things are happening here, while also supporting them, that’s why we’re offering training and a financial award to help these projects grow."
