Project Overview

The Challenge

Current cryptographic systems will become vulnerable as quantum computing advances, creating new cybersecurity risks for critical infrastructures such as energy networks, telecommunications and digital services. Organisations need practical, validated solutions to transition to post-quantum cryptography while maintaining secure and resilient operations.

Our Objective

To design, develop and validate a framework that enables a faster and smoother transition from classical to post-quantum cryptography. By combining cryptographic agility, migration tools, real-world validation and cascade funding for SMEs, PQ-REACT helps organisations prepare for the quantum era.

Innovation & Impact

PQ-REACT combines post-quantum cryptography migration tools with real quantum computing infrastructure to validate secure solutions in operational environments. Through pilot demonstrations, SME open calls and cross-sector collaboration, the project strengthens Europe’s cybersecurity capabilities and accelerates the adoption of quantum-safe technologies.
