PQ-NEXT develops a comprehensive framework to accelerate the transition towards post-quantum cryptography, protecting critical digital infrastructures against future quantum threats. The Challenge: Today’s public-key cryptographic systems will become vulnerable once practical quantum computing is available, putting sensitive data, digital identities and critical infrastructures at risk through threats such as “Harvest Now, Decrypt Later” attacks.
Our Objective: To enable a seamless transition to post-quantum cryptography by developing a comprehensive framework that combines quantum-resistant algorithms, maintenance tools and advanced programming capabilities for secure, crypto-agile systems.
