The Challenge
DevSecOps solutions are often designed for large enterprises and development teams, making them difficult for European SMEs to adopt due to cost, technical complexity and limited internal resources. This leaves many smaller companies without adequate tools to integrate security throughout the application lifecycle.
Our Objective
To build a portfolio of sustainable application cybersecurity solutions tailored to European SMEs, making DevSecOps practices more accessible and strengthening their cybersecurity capabilities. APPtake also provides a marketplace connecting cybersecurity technology providers with potential adopters and customers.
Innovation & Impact
APPtake advances and integrates existing cybersecurity tools, validating them across five real-world scenarios while building a technological and commercial network around interoperable DevSecOps solutions. By combining technology maturation, demonstration and market uptake, the project supports wider adoption of application security solutions among European SMEs.
Sploro plays a key role in the execution of the project, leveraging its expertise in:
End-user SaaS Pilot (Kronis)
Testing and validating APPtake’s cybersecurity solutions in a real SaaS environment through Kronis, Sploro’s platform for EU project lifecycle management, providing an operational use case for assessing their application and performance.
