On November 19, we hosted the EmpoWomen Demo Day, showcasing the incredible innovations of our first cohort of women-led startups. Eleven entrepreneurs took the stage to present their solutions, inspiring a jury of experts and an engaged audience. Congratulations to Astroteq.ai, IPLEXMED, and GOTECH Antimicrobial, our top winners who secured additional funding prizes!

At SLUSH 2024, our Cascade Funding Hub was the go-to space for connecting startups and SMEs with European funding opportunities. We proudly showcased our involvement in initiatives like EmpoWomen and Women Tech EU, both of which focus on empowering women entrepreneurs in deep tech across Europe. Alongside these, we presented the EU projects that Sploro is involved in, tailoring our approach based on each entrepreneur’s profile to find the best funding fit for them
Our EmpoWomen booth sparked engaging conversations and introduced many to the Cascade Funding mechanism, with attendees excited about the opportunities it brings. We’re thrilled to keep spreading the word and supporting innovation.
SLUSH is not just about technology, it’s about connection. The venue itself had a vibrant atmosphere and the neon lights creating a less corporate, more immersive feel. Workshops, panels, stages, and performances brought people closer, fostering an environment of creativity and collaboration.
For the Sploro team, SLUSH was a whirlwind of learning, collaboration, and adventure. Between hosting meetings, connecting with innovators from around the globe, and even “embracing” Finland’s snow, every moment was worth it. The energy of the event kept us buzzing, all the way through our sprint to catch our flight home through T4 in Madrid!
